Welcome to Horne Trading Post!  We are happy that you stopped by.  Whether you are a buyer or prospective seller ("Maker") it is important to be familiar with our Terms and Conditions.  These guidelines help ensure that everyone is treated fairly and has a professional experience at the Trading Post.  By using the services provided by Horne Trading Post, you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions.

 

These Terms and Conditions do not create an agency, employment, partnership, franchisee, or joint venture relationship between you and Horne Trading Post.  Makers, please reference your signed Maker Agreement for additional terms and conditions related to sellers.  Our desire is to be as clear as possible.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at horneknives@gmail.com.  We are happy to talk with you!

1.  CUSTOMER CARE

Horne Trading Post and its Makers (sellers) strive to provide you with premium service and products.  Our desire is to be down-to-earth, honest, and professional in all of our dealings.  We seek to follow the Golden Rule--always doing unto others as we would have them do unto us.  In order to provide you with the best possible service and products, each Maker has agreed to the shipping, quality, and customer interaction guidelines set forth in their Maker Agreement.

If you have any product related questions, please reach out to the product's Maker.  They will seek to handle any questions you have in a timely and courteous manner, according to the company's guidelines.  Each Maker's email address can be found on their page.

We are real people that want you to be absolutely delighted with your purchase.  We want to know if you experience any issues related to our services.

2.  ​PRIVACY

Here at Horne Trading Post we take your privacy very seriously.  Customers' and Makers' information is never disclosed without consent.  If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know at horneknives@gmail.com.

3.  ​LIMITATION OF LIABILITY (WARRANTIES)

Horne Trading Post does not make, inspect, handle, or store any of the products listed for sale on our site.  We offer the platform and marketing service by which independent sellers can sell their handmade items.  Therefore, understand that Horne Knives, LLC will not and cannot make any warranties about an item's quality, legality, and/or safety.  You must reach out to the product's Maker (i.e. seller) to make a warranty claim.  Note that sellers may clearly state a "final sale" statement on their product page.  In this event, the sale is of course, final, except for real issues of quality.  You agree to release Horne Knives, LLC from any and all claims related to products sold through our site.  This includes defective items, misrepresentations by sellers, or purchased items that were used to cause physical harm.  You understand that all goods sold through Horne Trading Post, by Makers, are handmade and acknowledge all logical implications of that fact.

4.  ​SHIPPING & HANDLING

Horne Trading Post does not ship or handle any of the products listed on our site.  This responsibility lies with the product's Maker.  Therefore, any concerns regarding shipping and handling should be directed towards an item's respective Maker.  Please know that each Maker has agreed to our Shipping and Handling Policy to promote professional packaging and reasonable shipping times.  Lastly, note that if a grievance occurs at the fault of the shipping company used to actually deliver the goods (i.e. lost shipment or damaged in transit), then you must file a claim with the responsible shipping company.

DISCLAIMER

By placing an order you represent that you are of legal age and that the product(s) ordered will be used in a lawful manner. Horne Trading Post assumes no responsibility for any harm/injury resulting from a product advertised on our site. It is your responsibility to ascertain and obey all applicable local, state, federal and international laws in regard to the possession/use of any item purchased. We are unable to provide refunds in the event that the package that you have ordered was seized by customs or other agencies. Consult your local and state laws before ordering if you are in doubt.

All logos displayed on Horne Trading Post's website are originally created by and claimed by Horne Knives, LLC.  Any logos or other intellectual property used by Horne Trading Post can only be used elsewhere with the written consent of Horne Knives, LLC.
